Lynn Hutton

Since graduating from Oxford (History) and Norwich School of Art and Design as a conceptual artist, sculptor and printmaker Lynn has worked as a freelance artist. Her practice is divided between themed gallery exhibitions, nationally and locally, commissions, both corporate and private: and commercial work for galleries. Clients include norwichunion.com, Age Concern, Norwich and Salthouse Sculpture Trail. She has written articles for magazines and images of her work have been printed in books. Lynn is a member of the National Register of Sculptors as well as a member of Artworks. She is currently resident artist with Swaffham Mental Health Association, Merle Boddy Centre.Her work is diverse in its application and use of materials. It has evolved around the concepts of identity and memory, as a result of a familial experience of Alzheimer's disease. More recently she has explored hidden aspects of the landscape, which shape our identity. The image of the contours and strata of the landscape are explored to create work that often has a reference to the contours of the human form.
